Episode 1.6 -- Spring Break, Spring Fling, and a Spring in your Step

Spring Break (college-style!) begins at Spring Fling, the annual closing party at our most frequented riding location. Water skipping, drink sipping, and gnar shredding were all under way as Emily and Justine enjoyed some quality time with the "fifth wheel" and another new character, we shall call her Teralin. The bad ass punks and lovely ladies were abundant yet elusive so this four-pack rounded out the season with some final chairlift humor and an afton alps burger (with onions), and of course, a granola bar.

That night the super awesome foursome was down to a threesome as Emily, Justine, and Austin headed out to the bar. Nicole was missed but she was no doubt creating her own "spring break" moments to be detailed later. For now, the threesome found themselves with what turned out to be quite some group. The awkward potential for the evening was sky high as the crowd was made up of 3 ex-boyfriends, 2 of which were with new girlfriends, of whom 1 was 1 of the 3 ex-girlfriends, 1 adorable new lady friend, and plenty of alcohol. Needless to say: carnage. Surprisingly, the mixed crowd handled the situation well and the you-know-what never hit the fan. The most "college" events of the night included a couple (semi-public) make out sessions and a lot of (very public) non-stop dance parties. The inherent humor of both events are probably what eased the tension and allowed for the lack of "dee-RAMA". Eventually, the DD's were able to round up the troops and everyone made it safely to their various spring break destinations.

[Cut to Country Bar]

The foursome reunites after having spent far too long apart (a whole week)! They all gather around the microphone and belt out an unrecognizable rendition of "Ain't No Mountain High Enough." Afterwards they share some pitchers of PBR, some laughs, and several stories from their many spring break adventures...to be continued...
